Bio
LUARA GIBADULLINA

I am a visual artist & photographer. My professional journey has been an evolution through floristry, web design, and photography—a path that ultimately crystallized my mission within the visual realm.
Born in a Bashkir village in Russia, I grew up immersed in nature, which remains my primary source of inspiration. My perception was further refined through years at art and music schools, weaving a sense of rhythm and harmony into my DNA. Later, exploring the world with just a backpack crystallized my trust in the ‘flow’ of life and the subtle realms that exist beyond the material. This perspective defines my artistic style: ethereal and shimmering, built on the interplay of color and light. Whether through auditory patterns or the quiet grace of the mundane, I am constantly seeking to capture the hidden magic of our reality.
Artist statement
My creative practice is a pursuit of the elusive. I aim to document «shimmers of existence» — those transient dimensions of reality situated between the physical and the metaphysical.
I act as a hunter of the non-obvious. Using the camera as an extension of my perception, I deliberately employ motion blur, defocus, and prisms to deconstruct the literal world. My aim is to strip away the physical form and expose the emotional and energetic essence beneath. I treat color as a primary syntax, weaving individual frames into cohesive, wordless narratives—visual poems that invite the viewer into a dialogue with the frame.
Ultimately, I create immersive visual spaces that serve as a bridge to a more sensory, soulful state of being. My goal is to offer a gateway where the familiar can be experienced anew, imbued with wonder and meaning. I am currently working to materialize these visions through fine-art photobooks and solo exhibitions, building a global community that resonates with this shared aesthetic.
